What material (for tanks) did Featherlight use in the late 90’s and early 2000’s?
My 95/96 Vantare by Featherlite has “plastic tanks.” They are made out of sheets of thick “plastic” and custom made to the size that fits. At least that is the way it appears to me.

I don’t think the tank material has to be any specific material as long as what is selected is appropriate for the application.
I think some plastics are ideal for a holding tank. Some plastics are not appropriate. Some metals would be very good for a holding tank. Some metals would be inappropriate.
On some of the homebuilder’s forums some builders have made their own tanks from plywood, properly sealed from the inside using spray on or trowel on sealers such as ashphalt like material or the spray on pickup truck bed liner.
