Withdrawal symptoms hitting us hard!

My Dad used to say to me, “Son, shut the door. Were you born in a barn?” Against my better judgement I answered one time. “You were there so you ought to know.” Man, I missed my front teeth something awful after that.
Now I tell him, “I may not have been born in a barn, but I live it one!”
I love parking inside when we are home!

Talk about withdrawal…We just put the bus and toad away in our home in Florida and flew back to Milwaukee where we are stuck all winter for business reasons. Geo.

We just got word from Jeff the blinds won’t be in until end of next week, so it will have to be after Christmas before we pick up the coach. Just as well we didn’t leave today–we have 2-3 inches of snow in town. Last time it snowed in San Antonio was in 1985!

We will be headed to FL the 26th. Be there until April.

Well, we are starting the third month the coach has been sitting at Jeff’s. Seems like it is taking forever to get the blinds in from California. Also it seems difficult to get an update from Jeff, and now we worry about the freezing temperatures in Vonore–sure hope Jeff is making sure the coach doesn’t freeze!

Side note: I was reading on the other RV site and saw the you made a post back in 2002. Y’all have been RVing for quite a long time!

I took some before pictures when we left. We are really looking forward to seeing the completed product, and I’ll post some pictures.
We do enjoy getting on the road, and have been motorhoming since 1991. We have put around 270,000 miles on our three motorhomes.

I’m sure Jeff has your baby well taken care of. We have stayed at ELTC Resort several times including during cold spells.
As for the delays in getting shades from California, well after all it is California. I’ve been waiting on an engine stand ordered with a USPS money order back in 1972 to arrive from California. The Post Office was absolutely useless in recovering either the engine stand or my money.
Now as of 1/1/2018, they are all too busy falling over each other to get to the recreational smoke shops for either weed to burn or weeded solids to cure their munchies. So chill out, relax, and just maybe you will find a “bag” in your shades.
We changed out our old factory shades several years ago. There were no problems in delivery or installation. They remain in service to this date.
Best wishes yours coming in to ETLC tomorrow, that will give Jeff something to do over the weekend. We just received a gift of 6″ snow. On 9th December 2017 we received a gift of 14″ snow.
