Where to tap an aux compressor into air system?

Greg,
I moved my Prevost Aux tank to the center of the bus, there is a set back cavity where some of the spare tire would be.
As to the bay doors, I added one air cylinder to each door that I use a lot. I have 5 bays and the steer door on air. I just left the gas spring in place on the othe side of the doors with air cylinders.

Dale,
Great looking compressor. It looks like the one I just ordered. My original compressor failed and I decided to go with a quieter one rather than to fix the original one.

I took a little different approach and added a 2nd aux tank to feed only the toilet. With key off, the aux compressor only feeds the 2nd tank, with key on, it’s tied into the main aux system. Tank is aluminum and only weighs a few pounds. With the key on, I now have almost doubled my aux air volume which in turn cycles the engine compressor less while running.

Thats a nice looking setup Tom, good idea. Where did you have room? is that the back center of the bumper storage?

It’s above the Aqua-Hot in the last bay, starboard side and my aux compressor is in the same bay, so it was a short run. I installed a solenoid in the steering bay where the original aux supply line comes in that is normally closed unless the key is on. So the only additional air line was the short one from the new tank and tee’d to the compressor.
I didn’t take the picture of the entire bay as I have the Webasto apart and I knew Jon would harrass me, since all he see’s is shiny stainless and chrome.

I’m going to harass Tom about his plastic hangers. I’m sure Prevost attaches their tanks using nylon wire ties also, right?

Those are Titanium, but designed to look just like plain ole Home Depot wire ties.
PS Anal 1, did you ever try breaking one of those?
-
Every time I am caught in a raid for trafficing in drugs I have the opportunity to try breaking them, and due to my supernatural powers I can always succeed.
Your turn.
