What is the door lock your talking about any info on it? will it work on a side by side refer ??

The door lock is “Fridge Fixer”. It does not work with side by side refrigerators.

The problem is rarely the compressor. It can be leaks where they cannot be fixed or the control board. Some of those boards become obsolete in 5 years.

Pure Sine Wave. repeat, Pure Sine Wave. Some electronics don’t work well or will fail with modified sine wave and nobody tells you that until you need to make a repair.
As to refrigerator replacement. The co-pilot seat, sofa, dining table, etc. can all remain, or if you take the time to remove them you eliminate or minimize the risk of damage to them, the upholstery or the refrigerator. When I replaced mine I spent a couple of hours removing everything mentioned above to provide a clear, unobstructed path with room for multiple people to be able to move around and carry or support the refrigerator.
It was worth the effort.

For a while, Liberty and Marathon were installing Sub Zero. Since our coach is a four slide, a Sub Zero doesn’t fit in the front passenger slide-out where the fridge is located. They had been putting in GE.
I’m not a GE fan, too many friends had trouble with that product including us with a washer and dryer (went back to Maytag)….. and I know so many manufactures are the ‘same’ unit by a different name.
During our Liberty build, we asked Liberty to put in a Jenn Air because we had one in the ’08 Dynasty and it worked flawlessly for the 7.5 yrs. that we owned it and 70,000 miles.
So far, at 62 months of ownership, the Jenn Air has been fine.
We did not want a Sub Zero as that is what we have at home in TN and almost every unit (3 out of 5 units) has needed repair. At the house in California, we have a 1987 Sub Zero side by side that was in the house when we purchased it in ’96. In ’98, both compressors went out but were replaced under the 12 yr. warranty minus installation costs (we lucked out!). That fridge is still humming along today.
In TN, we remodeled the kitchen completely in 2003 putting in Sub Zero products including a wine cooler unit with 2 refrigeration drawers at the bottom. We had so much trouble with that unit that Sub Zero offered to replace the unit at cost as we had spent so much to keep it running after warranty. So, the new unit has been fine for 5 plus years (?).
Back to your question, Liberty has used several brands over the years depending on where the fridge is placed.
