Just passed a year with the T-Mobile Home Internet and I remain very satisfied. Even here in S. CA where I had issues with T-Mobile a few years back, we have had no issues on this visit. We stream a lot but not exclusively. Most of our TV is via DirecTV satellite. Northern Exposure on Prime every night and usually a movie or 2 on our days off.

I have a Peplink 5g router with a T-Mobile sim in it setup as a phone account. Works very well and gets great speeds. We stream quite a bit and it works far better than the AT&T plan that we had before. We also get far better speeds with T-Mobile than we ever did with AT&T. We are on an unlimited plan and we used over 160gigs in 12 days on our last trip…no slow downs or issues at all. We have DirecTv Stream and have 2 boxes in the coach and it works great…we can be on different shows and it just works. With AT&T it was constantly buffering.
As to the Home Internet, we tried that and #1 it was slower for some reason, and #2, the rep at our local store told me that they had gotten a memo that they were going to start enforcing geofencing soon. It was sold to be used at a static spot and they knew many were using it while traveling. So the box went back. We have been very happy with T-Mobile so far (about 6 weeks) and for us, it is faster and cheaper by about $400 per month than AT&T. We ported our numbers over and that was easy and very quick as well.

I’ve had T-Mo FWA for a mobile solution and also while my bus is stored in Cumming GA (security camera). When I’m at my TN place I have Starlink at my bus barn.
My experience with T-Mo has been mixed. On my initial setup at my home in Dunwoody GA it was less than stellar, maybe 40/10 DS/US. I wrote that off to a heavily utilized tower in a very populated area. At storage (Cumming GA), the performance was really good 150-250 down / 20-30 up. Fast forward a year the performance is sub-par in storage also.
I suspect performance is very much location dependent and as adoption has accelerated T-Mo may be struggling to keep pace. To that point T-Mo introduced data caps back in January.
On the other hand, my Starlink experience has been consistently good for 2+ years.

I am about 2 weeks in with the T-Mobile tower and am very pleased except this past weekend when I was in a small town that had very poor cell service.

It is certainly location specific as any cell signal is. We are generally in urban locations when staying somewhere for any length of time. This is our speed test here in Newport Beach.
