Howdy Debi and Bob. Great to hear from y’all. Hope all is well with you. I probably need to call Bob to get the latest read on the market and where the bargains are. I was living in the past with the Bob01 – I guess it is now Bob20+
I heard from the seller late yesterday. Unfortunately we are a bit apart and those purse strings don’t seem to be sufficiently long to open up wide enough to bridge the gap. The hunt continues. The great thing about looking is that you connect with folks you haven’t talked to in a while. To that end, I had a nice conversation with Steve B yesterday.

I sold my 99 CC XL and got an 07 Marathon H3 2S (#1080)
I have only owned it since August and have not traveled much but I do pull them in and back out at least once a week to dump tanks. I am at ETLC in the parking lot so not dumpy at my spot.
They are Valid and seem to do very well.
Jeff Rowe has been here six years I think and he said he has never worked on one.

I own a 2007 Marathon H3-45 with 3 Valid slides, double in bedroom. All are labeled super slides thus opening wider along with longer length.
The control is push button simple following the screen prompts. Operation is extremely smooth and very quiet, no jerking.
There are two control panels, installed fore and aft, both fully operate all three slides. If there was a control box malfunction, you have a spare.
Did the same research Luc …when I was considering this bus. Unable to find anyone who actually had a problem or heard of anyone with a Valid slide problem.
When I spoke to Valid about service….referral was back to Marathon service center or Valid factory for assistance.
Another consideration… Valid slides are extra dollars added to the shell cost. That said, Valid slides installed should increase the bus value. That of course is subject likely compared to cars and trucks loaded with premium model upgrades.

Thanks for the insight Buddy and Al. You have confirmed what my research has generated so far that Valid slides seem to work as well as or better than Prevost factory slides.
