    Clifford,

Are you saying the delam is affecting seated coaches with the plastic skins also?

At Prevost Jacksonville dropping off my bus for the rivet process. Great people here, couldn’t be more accommodating.

    The adventure begins….

Keep us posted! We all want to know how it is going. One month to go before I drop mine off.

    Well, not so fast!

They damaged a panel and will have to completely remove the entire panel and replace with new. Panel not in stock, so air freight from CA then about 4 – 5 days to complete. Also damaged the driver side lower band and that to will be replaced. They are taking care of the cost, but this isn’t pretty.

Here’s a pic of what the strips look like:

Sorry to hear your bad news, also wondering will the new vertical strips be painted to match the painted areas.

I’m sorry I didn’t notice the damage, Tom. Either it happened after I looked at it or I am a dunce. Your choice.

Yes Jim, it will be painted to match and once done, you really have to look for it to notice the strips.

By the way, they call the vertical stainless strips Patch Panels, just in case anyone here’s that term.

Tom, That looks wonderful. Is this done under Prevosts dime? Just curious since it’s a design flaw!

    Glens,

Prevost is doing the rivets only.

All done at Prevost and will be heading to the paint shop on Tuesday. This is what it looks like prior to painting.
