Jon
Now that I also own Florida realestste, NO coach, NO boat, NO aircraft, there is a lot missing but I espessially miss the coach and all the friends.
I envy your change and only wish I could buy your Liberty – how about we swap one of my Maine places and you could throw in the 210.
-
Sorry Woody…….the plane is gone as of last June. But I will let you buy the bus. I will trade for cash.
-
Jon & Di,
Congratulations from Karen and I. What a beautiful Liberty with SLIDES! AT LAST!
I knew you would do it one day …. happy for you two. Hope you have many miles of fun and enjoyment.
We can’t wait to see your new Elegant Lady and the grins on your faces.
Best Wishes,
Tuga & Karen
-
Tuga,
Did you ever think you would see the day! Slides, no rivets, standard fuel and a king size bed. I’m not sure we will even know him when he shows up next.
-
Truk,
Let the back-tracking begin !!!! He’s going to look like a crawfish going to a seafood boil. (I don’t expect you guys to get that one).
Louise just informed me that the bedspread color in Jon & Di new bus is the “in” color for 2012; I think she called it tangerine or coral. The interior designer that we used when we renovated ours told her about the “new in color”. This bus must have been re-done by someone who was up on the latest trends. Louise loves the colors inside.
You done good A-1!
Jon’s going to need a king size bed to support his swelled head and the grin on his face when he takes delivery of this baby!
Boy it sure is pretty; I really like the beige laminates and the ultrawood veneers.
-
What can I say Tuga…….we were “smitten”. The photos do show a nice coach, but Di and I had the “eureka” moment when we stepped inside.
As nice as our 97 is, the new coach raises the excitement level and has us looking forward to traveling in it. An ’87, a ’97, and now a ’06 seems to suggest we may have a 2016 in our future.
-
Jon & Di,
Congratulations! Safe travels and wonderful adventures in your new gorgeous bus!
-
OK, we all know how meticulous Jon is about his coaches and the way they look. So the question is not IF BUT WHEN will he install the dreaded BUG SHIELD and what color will it be SMOKE OR CLEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody knows Country Coaches are the prettiest, but you really have a beautiful coach there, enjoy.
-
I would rather eat bees than hide the beauty of any coach behind a cloudy, milky, plastic shield. Bug splatters and stone dings are beauty marks.
-
I took mine off after hearing your argument about the lack of their beauty.
Now mine really looks better.
You know, a lot of the fun in a new coach is getting it ready. My dad would buy one and spend 6 months getting it outfitted, travel for a year and then sell it, get another one and start the process all over again.
Have fun and enjoy.

You know, they make a great invisible bra out of a tint-like material. It really is invisible and does the job of keeping the bugs off of the paint.

hi Jon,
How is Di going to deal with not having a carousel in the rear closet!??? Will she make you move it to the new bus?
will you Celebrate knowing Di has to donate most of her closing?
Do you need the local phone number of the Salvation Army? (they do a great job).Me thinks, the height of the bus and whether it fits into your garage is secondary to how much clothing Di can hang indide the coach!
He he.
Cheers,
Ronald

Ron et al……..It is surprising how much “stuff” we accumulate in our coaches over time. Our carousel in the closet is just one of the places we had waaaaay too much stuff. Di quickly realized we will be putting far less stuff back into the new coach than we pulled out of the current one. I’ll avoid going into details except for one example which should keep me out of trouble and our marriage intact. I had at least 10 pairs of jeans, half of which I had never worn. The reason…….”just in case”. I guess I had that many just in case our washer and dryer quit and we were in some place there weren’t laundromats.
Now that the coach is empty I suspect its light weight will allow me to get 15 miles per gallon and spin the tires any time I want.
