Well Jon, I guess upgrading to a newer coach would, in most circles, be an acceptable excuse for leaving us RIVET guys behind. Who in the world is going to replace you as the GURU of rivet coaches? Some might consider this an act of treason !!!!! What are we to do, I’am lost. With you going to the (Other Side) I am thinking of trading my 99 in on a Winabago so I can figure things out and keep it going. Much simpler you know! 🙂

Was it ready to go? I need him to get a quick turn around, I’m working like a sled dog while he’s stimulating the economy.
If you have time, sure would be nice to hear a report on how you like the X-3, although what’s not to like!

Hey Bob in Landrum!! You are not far from me at all!! Southeast Busnuts is having a rally at Palmetto Cove Park in Cleveland, SC this weekend. It is located between Caeser’s Head State park and Table Rock Park on Table Rock Road. We will be there tomorrow and have to leave Saturday night.Last year we had 55 coaches and so far this year we have 38 registered. Come on down and join us.

They had your new coach”spit shined” and in the showroom ready for delivery.
Sorry to hear that you will be in a hurry when you take delivery, as these newer coaches with crestron control systems took an old guy like me a while to understand certain functions. I have also found each coach we have owned was programed differently. Troy, and the staff at Liberty were very patient and helpful during delivery.
The X3 is still in process of being built in North Chicago, expect delivery the end of May. We understand your anticipation for delivery.
Will be attending the Royale Rally in Myrtle Beach hope to meet you then. Again ENJOY your new coach!!!

Liberty has their hands full trying to get a steam gauge guy to learn Crestron. I have mastered the art of turning on the lights. I know where the key is. We know how to get ice from the refrigerator for our adult beverages. I think we got it.
We will have another day of training and Friday if needed. We don’t even know what we don’yt know, but at least I don’t have to learn the mechanicals as much as I need to learn the Crestron.

If you guys want to know how a rivet and no slide guy can possibly end up with a non rivet, two slide coach all I can say is ya gotta see the coach. Actually now I am screwed because now the only think I can pick on other owners about it their plexiglass bug shields, and I can see how they are going to be watching me eat my words about rivets and slides.
Yum, yum….pass the salt please.

Hey Tom, we would love to join you but we have family visiting here from out of state until next week. Please let us know if the group has another event close by. We are headed to Myrtle Beach the 30th with other coach owners, will you be there? Didn’t realize there is a Southeast Busnut group?

Here is the web page link for Southeast Busnuts. http://www.southeastbusnuts.org It is a chapter of FMCA and has several rallies a year. Good group of folks. Would love to go to Myrtle Beach, but we are going to be in Nashville the first weekend of May at the Eagles International rally. We enjoy Ocean Lakes and have lots of friends with permanent spots there. Maybe next time!!! -

I have been assured this coach comes with the self repairing option so I can spend more time pushing my own buttons.

That’s because I have a twisted mind. I actually think we are getting the hang of it. Brought the coach home yesterday and Di and I used the Crestron and with only a couple of still frustrating issues we managed to not only get stuff to work, but did it without a problem. Old dogs do learn new tricks.
