    For what it is worth, I had a miss on #5 (heat gun on exh manifold) and changed injector without change. Found the problem in the ECM connector, a tiny bit of corrosion. Cleaned both mating surfaces (pins and sockets) and no problems for several years now..

    your issue could easily be the same.., it’s worth a try if you have not found the problem yet.

    Taking it to a dealer that can diagnose it seems to be a step he has refused to take. Why waste time asking people who will not know when a dealer can tell him what is going on. We can all tell tales of what we had happen with our engines or transmissions, but unless he gets it diagnosed, he isn’t going to know what it is, or likely be able to fix it.
