It will be just 30 days until The Evansville Greyhound Rally by Busboys.. Also don’t forget Pre and Post rally. Busboys is thinking they will set a new bus parade record on Sunday! Be part of a World Record. The Pre-Post rally All donations will go to Burdette Park for their Youth programs. Come meet Jon—Scott—Stan(BusBoys) Maybe the last time you will see The Variety and history of Buses all in one.

Not a penny of the money you pay goes anywhere except for the benefit of the children’s programs that take place at Burdette Park. Bob Glines is the point man who will insure it reaches the programs and at the end of the event we will add up all that has been collected and let everyone know how the money was distributed.

The voluntary donations Bob would like to see for parking beyond the 1st night is going to be added in. From the feedback on other sites this is going to be an amazing opportunity to see coaches of almost any vintage, for us to meet our counterparts on the other bus sites, and to talk trash.

All the other bus sites already know if we own a Prevost we are all rich, stuck up, and probably don’t know how to air up our tires (we have our people do that) so we should have some fun trying to convince the others that is all true.

Please add me to the list as a strong maybe. I should be ready, and will definitely be eager to make my first trip. It would be nice to be around older buses. My ’84 Liberty is no spring chicken. 🙂

    Chad,

As Bob says if your plans are indefinite you can just show up. When you register on the PC rally site and we collect the non-refundible deposit you are absolutely going to get a site. We have no idea how many who have not registered on either site are planning to just arrive, but we have to give priority to those who did register.

BTW, any money donated for the parking spaces at Burdette Park will be donated to children’s programs so we are hoping for overflow crowds.

They still have larger shelter blocked out for us just in case. You factory built guys can see how us poor bus owners make do with what we got! Some/most of things we build are KISS principle.. Safey not effected…! Ya see I’m one of both groups. Built a Prevost Myself. Don’t know which side to stand with?? Don’t have a bay load of $$$$$. Sort of a halfbreed. Let it begin!!! Stan of busboys is a purist. Must be original down to interior colors seated coach.. Where all this started.

We may have to give Bob a special pass because he has a Prevost with slides that he built himself. He has his feet on both sides of the fence.

Thanks, Jon. I did register last night. If I’m unable to attend, at least my deposit will go to a good cause, unlike my dues!

    Bob,

There is a term used to describe politicians that straddle an issue, kinda similar to the current build the border wall.

The term derives based on the position of two parts of a politicians anatomy. One is their “Mug” the other their “Whump.” Combine those two terms and you have a MugWhump. To see what a gathering of these MugWhumpers looks like, just take a glance at any of our Federal politicians. In fact, for some, it is very difficult to distinguish between their Mug and their Whump much less what side of an issue they are favoring!

I believe the technical term that Will has not mentioned is rectal-cranial inversion.

Jon, that is correct. You can find a MugWhump easily, every day of every year in every place. A rectal-cranial inversion only happens every 99 years. Kinda like the path of the total solar eclipse we just experienced.

I have to disagree Will. I see people who evidence rectal-cranial inversion almost on a daily basis. I was going to say most arer politicians, but there cannot be that many politicians amongst us.
