make your plans now! I can’t wait to meet and put faces with PC members. Maybe some true stories and not so true. Life is good so share it now. Bob
-
What do you mean we tell some not so true stories? Everything we post on PC is the absolute truth, and I ain’t lying this time.
-
Tom, I sent an email yesterday. There are two Flxible guys that need to be added to the list, just bill me for their spots.
-
Tom,
Wait a minute. I was one of the first to respond to this event. I was the Project Manager on the construction and implementation of Evansville’s computerized traffic signal system way back in 1979-1981. No way I’d miss this event. Please correct the list to include my name. Bob Glines has promised Fruit Fritters from the Donut Bank just to make certain I make the trip. Bus will be somewhere in the exterior refurbishment but mine is a “Classic” according to Jon.
Thanks

If you’re not on the list you didn’t do it, so go click on the link and sign up. I can’t add you manually. You weren’t on the list I posted 7/17 either Will, Carole needs to straighten you out.
If the Flexible guys are not PC members, have them sign up with Bob. Or, join PC and hit the button.
-
Will, just a heads up, that Bob guy treated Scott and I at the donut bank and all he did was complain about how the traffic lights in Evansville are timed and set up.
I think he said something about you not being able to stay away from those donuts instead of fixing the lights the way they should be.
-
OK, here’s the update and glad Carole got Will off his butt to push the button.
Is the pot right?
-
Sorry Buddy, but I am already in New Mexico and did not know you wanted me to bring you the ramps so you could ‘borrow’ them. I am towing the Bug, otherwise I would have towed the El Camino and brought them to you. I also have a large bridge in Brooklyn you can put a sizeable deposit on when I see you.
-
Fred,
Do you suppose Buddy is switching to an H, so he can carry “his ramps” with him?
-
Looks like we have enough to go the larger shelterhouse(holds 1500) even though it is to large. the other is 60 max. I just returned from a uneventful trip! As I entered drive the gen set ran out of fuel—-dang cut that one sort of close. Looking foward to meeting people behind screen names. Any special request???? Bob Will– there will be fruit-fritters!!!!
-
Bob, If you bribe Will with fruit fritters are you hoping to get him to straighten out those lights?
-
please add Will(aka fruit-fritter ) to list. We made arangements today. Between the Busboys and Pre/Post rally I feel there are over 100 involved. Also anyone wishing to move parts on feel free to bring them. Trade or barter. As for stoplights–you can design best system ever but can’t take stupid out of some drivers !

One of the members from busgreasemonkey.com posted the information below. If you have an older coach and are going to park downtown his post urges you register.
“Hi guys, I just spoke to Stan Holter, as I wanted to confirm that we would be able to run generators if we park down town over night. He is pretty sure that was addressed already but he will re-confirm and post the answer on their web site. He mentioned they have 69 buses registered, and said they are pushing people to register if you plan to attend with your bus so they can make sure they have space reserved for everyone.
So just passing on his request, if you are planning to go, get online and register.”
