For those following this thread, I just wanted to let you know that Apple has approved my update to the RV Dash app.

I have added a DEMO mode, so that anyone with an iPad can download, and see the app in action. Simply download and run RV Dash. After about 5 seconds when the CANpod is not located, a trouble-shooting dialog will appear. Now, on that dialog you’ll find a DEMO button. Simply tap the DEMO button, and the app will internally stream data from a file stored in the app. The data was captured from my bus on a run down the freeway to Prevost at Mira Loma. The data will play for about 3 minutes.

During that time, all the controls will be operational, and you can give the app a shake-out, change the control layout, try the different modes etc.

The app is currently free to download on the App Store.

Thanks Tom! I’m glad that it worked for you.

Just a final followup to this thread. Apple approved my second app yesterday, so the iPhone/iPad DDec Decoder app is now available for download in the App Store.

There is no demo mode in this app, so it’s probably not worth downloading without the hardware to support the connection to the DDEC.
