There is only one model Coleman RV 2-ton unit being produced. It is a heat pump, which requires one more wire than the harness originally installed in the Vantare for the RVAC unit. The unit also requires a new thermostat upstairs, so be sure you have room for a larger, horizontally-oriented t-stat versus the vertically-oriented one that was original.
The things that can make for a challenge involve orientation of the bay components
– in earlier years, the gen radiator, sometimes a fiberoptic illuminator, and inverter installation all could impede the Coleman retrofit.In all cases the supply and return ductwork will have to be reconstructed. Also, hole-thru-the-floor placement is not the same, so plan on installing sheeting to cover existing holes, cutting new ones in the correct place.
The Coleman unit is longer, and wider than the bay if the current installation is along the centerline. The replacement unit needs to be along the left wall of the bay outboard-to-inboard. Ill take pics of our last retrofit and post as soon as I can.

Had the same problem with control board- repaired, plus had bad main stage compressor-replaced @ $1000k. Been working fine for two years. Also added freon connectors on top of unit to charge both units if needed. Not much to this RVAC once it`s outside the bus and cover removed.. Contemplated the coleman retrofit, went the fix it route.
