We won’t be in Phoenix until September. Have a long time to over research all the suggestions – LOL

You could drive out there this summer, spend at night in each one, and then make an informed decision.

I could have sworn Dick suggested driving to Phoenix this summer.

I suppose you would also suggest a trip to Minnesota in mid January?

Let me guess you head to FL in July and WI in January?

I would like to go snowmobiling with Hilgers in Wyoming mountains in January and then on West Yellowstone, WY for a few days of snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park.

Should we put you on the short list to invite?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I have ZERO intention of going to MN in the winter ever again. I will likely hit either Las Vegas and /or Scottsdale late summer or early fall, and that will still be too hot….

Now that I saw the light and moved to TN, I can actually use my bus all year without turning the bottom to rust!

Dick, look at Mark’s post above. For me you can insert Jamestown NY as my winter experience and like Mark I will never go north in the winter.

No need to add my name to the list of people who like frigid temps, a winter that gets 20 feet of snow, salt and sand on the roads destroying our vehicles, going weeks if not months never seeing the sun, and a need to wear 20 pounds of clothes if venturing out.

West Yellowstone, Montana 59758. I used to live there driving snowcoaches into OFI, and driving MCI’s transporting chartered ski trips

Booked an overnight here enroute from Houston to Indio for Christmas. Will let you know how it works out! Thanks for the tip. BTW – Where is the map located that is being mentioned?

    Many thanks,
