You do have one of the early ones. It wasn’t until the six speed became available that Prevost was able to use the Series 60 in 40 foot coaches. The combined length of the engine and 5 speed was too long for the 40 footers so only the 45s had the rear overhang required for that combination. The shorter 6 speed transmission was what it took along with a completely redesigned tax axle to get everything to fit the 40’s.
