Somebody explain to me why anyone with a Liberty would have any interest in peeking through the fence just to see a line up of Marathon coaches? Not going to happen.
If you want to see how a Prevost is put together you likely have to make the trek up to Canada and witness the process in person. I can say for certain seeing how our coaches are built will be time well spent and will provide a great appreciation for how much actually goes into creating a coach. Even if it will end up being a Marathon.

Jon: Do you think those Marathon owners get together behind a chainlink fence (probably augmented with a private security force) as some kind of a kindred building exercise to continually convince each other that their Marathons are almost as well put together and almost as good as a Liberty? Do you think that is the real reason behind this conclave? Could there have been some beaking of the ranks with one or two Marathon owners coveting a Liberty that precipated this event?

Yeah…that would make a nice bus for Tom & Nancy! It even has a couple of slides….
I saw it out at Tiger Run when we were there. I am not a fan of bunks, but overall, it wasn’t a bad layout. The Volvo engine is supposed to do much better on fuel than the later model year Detroits too….
Tom…buy it so that poor guy doesn’t have to take it all the way to Florida. He could just take your trade home instead. Al could help you move everything over to the new bus…..just sayin…..

Great idea, I wasn’t aware that you would forfeit your 50% of the dues money, so the sky is the limit. No wait, I’m trying to understand what I could really buy with the dues revenue. I got it, N A F T.

I’m thinking of setting up a charity jar for poor Tom at the next rally so he can buy his last bus.
Poor guy.
BTW, I really like black vehicles and that Marathon looks really classy. If only it had OTR………….

Now that sounds like there’s a deal to be made. Tom will buy his next last bus (avec slides) if Jon buys a shiny black bus, sans OTR?

OTR air. I agree with what Tom said. Dont need it. My 2nd bus had OTR air and I loved it. My current bus does not and I don’t need it.I have 4 roof airs now, and I love em. I usally always run the generator while running down the road, and roof airs are more than enough. I don’t need OTR at RV park because I would not run S-60 for obvious reasons. I would rather have the extra storage in outside bays as I usally make longer trips vs weekend get-a-way. I do however find it very intresting that every time I went to purchase a new coach, Liberty always said you will not be able to keep your bus cool in texas and in the south east US without OTR air. Before purchasing my current coach I looked at a Liberty H triple slide, and now they said you don’t need OTR to stay as cool in Texas or anywhere in summer time, and I would probaly also enjoy the extra bay storage.I think we finally see it the same way now. All that being said if I lose my generator at any time while traveling, now thats a different story.
