You are right Jon I did not like the air awning so I just put a window awning on, I could have put a manual one on but I don’t use it so had the window awning put on and I like those, you can’t even tell it had the big awning on

If the awnings get mounted any higher, like on an H3 they aren’t worth anything unless the sun is directly overhead so the short window awnings make more sense than ever.

Buddy: With eight 8D AGM batteries (I presume they are Lifelines) wouldn’t be more cost effective to just buy a different new to you coach than to change out the batteries?

Peter: I have one of those special kind of awnings too. We’ve had the coach for almost three years and I’ve never opened the special kind of awning up … kinda afraid it would open and not close. If it does that at Jeff’s, I’m covered. But if it won’t close at a camp ground or the race track then I’m probably stuck getting out a ladder and a Sawzall. If I change it out with a manual awning, then I’ll probably have enough room for more batteries. Hadn’t thought about that. Kills two birds with stone … which is something we try to do in Wisconsin as often as possible. Very good post on your part. Very profound, it was more than enlightening for me.

The manual ZipDee awnings work fine for Me. Don’t want no Air actuated nothing else to worry about. The large one over Our Outdoor Grill and entertainment center is great. You can keep it low to shade more or raise it up.The window Awnings help keep the coach cooler by shading the Single pane windows.

Dick, it would be cheaper to buy a new to me coach just not ready yet
