We’ve used the PI for a few years now. Works great except on two occasions when hooking up in a new park the voltage on one or both legs showed extremely high. Both times I went to the park office and they checked our pedestal and surrounding sites pedestals. All were OK. Both times we had a lot of rain at sites the night before and after a couple of minutes the PI showed all was normal and I hooked up the coach. No problems.

So, I wonder if water had gotten into the PI during the rains and caused an incorrect high voltage reading when hooking up at the next park. Now I place a small strip of electrical tape over the ‘joint’ where the coach cord plugs in to the PI box to keep water our. The PI box doesn’t always hang straight down from a pedestal. No problems so far and we’ve been in heavy Florida downpours for a couple of months now.

    Anyone have this experience?
