On a serious note though, if anyone going to the Pround’s rally in April wouldn’t mind drumming up some support for a monster Prevost event, that would be superb.

When? 2016 or 2017 prob late Spring or early/late Summer

Where? Somewhere central that can hold a couple or three hundred buses with hopefully some decent local sightseeing places as well

What? A rally for everyone interested in Prevost with lots of activities, chat, social events, vendors (not all bus-related) and anything else that can be dreamt up to keep 500+ people with all sorts of tastes and backgrounds entertained for a few days

I’m pretty sure if the numbers are 200 plus the rally fees can be used to provide entertainment in the evenings. Not the local entertainers, but entertainers of note. Sponsors will likely help underwrite the costs to keep the fees reasonable. Logistics enter the equation when you consider you become the equivalent of a small village so you are probably not able to have a venue that can seat 500 all at once for dinner so the location has to have a convention center type of accomodations rather than using the local restaurants.

But there does have to be some form of activities that people can enjoy when they are not looking at show coaches, attending seminars, or visiting exhibitors.

Jim and Chris have been active in the Airstream rallies and I suspect they can offer some advice on not only locales, but activities, scheduling and logistical issues.
