Sshhhh Mark……..I’m trying to shame Sam into resuming the slack adjuster polish program I started on the old coach.
I’m actually amazed at I no longer have to polish my non-existant slack adjusters, but I might have to paint my super duper, heavy duty, brake calipers. Is rust a color?
No hub seals to leak on the steer or tag either. That’s good. A gazillion grease fittings on the IFS, that’s bad.
BCO, that hot joke about the dogs and cat was not the one you told me yesterday. For those of you who haven’t hacked into my email to see my private notes BCO told me it was so hot and dry in OK that two trees were fighting over a dog that had to pee.
The moderators ought to do something about thread creep.

No way am I polishing those dang slack adjusters, Jon. Forget it!
While you guys all sat under your air conditioners arguing on line, I slowly but steadily worked on the Liberty polishing job. I did the roof, too!
Sorry for the quality of the photos, but the bling factor is so high that my little camera had a hard time adjusting!

The bus looks awesome, and welcome to the PC site .
I have a feeling you can get right into this Prevost bus thing. We also take shots at each other when one let’s there guard down. You probably already figured that out.
But on a serious note you will never meet a better bunch of bus drivers then what show up here. We answer lots of questions and every once in a while get one right.
Every body helps each other. It’s a great group.
Oh, I didn’t sit under a A/C today……OK…. I’ll come clean… how about in a swimming pool

Hey Jon? We had a thread creep, sixty-two model, powered by two thirty-five horse Evinrudes if I remember right, but it didn’t have any of those slack adjuster things … It was the economy model.
But you didn’t have to wax it.

Wow Sam,
The bus looks awesome! Do you apply and buff the polish by hand or machine? What did you use on fenders? Have you used the Zaino product to remove swirl marks and if so does it work?

Did you do the Zaino treatment on the SS? If so, did it make a difference?

Yes, I did use Zaino on the stainless. It worked very well.
I got brave and used my Flex buffer on the rear of the bus and the roof, and it worked great. I will never do the bus by hand again, after trying the buffer.
I am not a distributor of Zaino. I have used it on all our cars/trucks around the house for several years. They are all daily drivers, and the Zaino has always held up better and longer than any wax/polish that I have tried previously.
If we are at a rally sometime, I will loan out my Flex dual action orbital polisher to anyone that wants to try the Zaino. You buy the Zaino products, and a case of diet Mountain Dew for me to drink. I’ll sit in a comfortable chair watching, to make sure that you are doing it just right!
