    Hi Thomas,

I thought about getting someone to inspect the coach, but the added expenses wasn’t worth it to me, so I did my own PDI. I went through everything myself. I started in the front and worked my way to the back and noted anything that was not working. I did have some exposure regarding the chassis, since I am not mechanical, but I looked for any fluid leaks on the ground, check the fluid levels, made sure the level low system performed.

Premium then did all the repairs. When I flew back to take delivery, before I handed over the check, I made sure everything was fixed. We have put around 2k miles since we got her and knock on wood all is well.

We had a similar positive experience purchasing from Chad and crew four years ago. At that time both sales and service were located at the Chandler, AZ, facility. Since then Bennett moved out to his own sales location elsewhere in the Phoenix area, Chad acquired a separate service facility where his techs did house work and an adjacent tour bus maintenance co did all the chassis work, and now I understand all service is provided by Silverleaf, a company that now employs some or all of the former Premium service techs in the same service facility and now does their own chassis and house service work. I don’t know how the ownership worked out.

the techs we worked with then were very good and sought to make sure we were pleased with the bus and with the transaction – which we were and still are. The lead tech gave me his cell phone number and was Johnny on the spot answering my questions after the sale. I have not spoken to him in quite a while but I understand he made the transition to Silverleaf. I would use them if in need of service or PDI in the Phoenix area.

like all vehicle purchase transactions, make sure you have your expectations and understandings in writing before you sign anything and you likely will have a good purchase experience.
