Sorry for the delayed response. We are currently traveling back to Lakeland from PA (Thank Goodness) minus a small “hiccup” that left us in Roanoke for the night unexpectedly, we are back on the road and hope to be in Lakeland tomorrow afternoon.

I hope the flyer answered your questions. If not, please do not hesitate to give me a call directly.

As far as Burt goes, the latest update is he will be traveling with his posse, and we will be dead center of all the hub bub! As of now, I think there will be 60+ Bandit cars attending, the 2 Big Rigs from the Smokey and the Bandit, as well as the Police Car. Burt will be signing autographs on Friday and Saturday in the Cessna Building, and Saturday night he will be introducing the Drive In movie of Smokey and the Bandit that we will be presenting on site at Hangar E for all of us to enjoy! And as always we will make sure you have the best seats in the house!

For those going to the Air and Coach Concours entry will not be at the normal airport entry.

The entry point for the event will be 4175 Medulla Rd Lakeland FL 33811.

Good Morning PC,

For those attending the event, in the next week you will be receiving an email Welcome letter with your confirmation number. Please keep this handy as this will serve as your gate pass for entry. We will be welcoming our guests at the gate by the Florida Air Museum (This is NOT the Fantasy of Flight facility) The address is as posted previously 4175 Medulla Rd. Lakeland FL 33811.

The easisest access in to the facility is off of County Line Rd. If you will be traveling I-4, Take Exit 25 County Line Rd. proceed South to Medulla Rd(3.8 miles). Turn Left on to Medulla Rd and continue straight(1.6 miles). You will see the main gate directly in front of you.

For those traveling from other areas, Your GPS may take you in on Pipkin Rd to Medulla Rd, the only issue is there is a right turn in to the facility to that may be a little tight. I would continue West along Pipkin to County Line turn ritght (North) then follow to the next red light, which is Medulla and come straight in.

Again, anyone with questions, please feel free to give Bill or I a call. You may want to take a look at this on your gps prior to departure because guests have had gps issues in the past since there are 2 sections of Medulla Rd that do not connect, there is Old Medulla that does not connect, and if you put the Airport in your gps, it will take you to the main terminal on the North side of the airport along Drain Field Rd which is at the opposite side of where the show will be hosted.

Here is the flyer for the BBQ event that is being held At SnF the weekend prior to our event. Tim and I attended last year and it was a great time. I probably gained 5lbs in two days. Remember you can stay on grounds with full hookup for $35+tax a night. Just call Tracy at 863-904-4014.

Good afternoon PC,

I hope all is well. Ive been receiving reports from my friends back in PA that the first frost sat in over the weekend!

It was 73 here when it was 37 there 🙂 Let the text messages begin!! LOL I do not miss the cold or shoveling snow.

Just a few quick updates. I wanted to let everyone know that we have booked Bryan Rivers for our entertainment for Wednesday evening. I had the pleasure to meet Bryan and listen to him play this past weekend at the Lake Mirror Classic here in Lakeland and Im sure you will all enjoy him as well. And this just hot off the press!! Our friends from Featherlite will be joining us and bringing some Coaches that will be on display for sale. So if anyone has someone that may be interested in joining the Prevost Community, now is their chance!! We are also very excited for Rick as they have relocated their business to where Florida Luxury Coach was previously located, so if you are in the area, please stop in and see Rick. Time is drawing near!!! Everything is setup and planned for
the Air and Coach Concours. Not much has changed on the agenda however, all of
the final touches have been put on the schedule. Tim an I have been working on
the landscaping in our area and we are going to start detailing the Cessna
building tomorrow. We still have some basic signage and things to do, but for
the most part we are just anxiously awaiting everyone’s arrival.

AutoFest on the other hand has been crazy. It seems like
everyday something else is added. From sponsors, to activities, wine tastings,
beer sales, more featured guests and the whole Burt Reynolds thing. The entire area is talking about Burt’s appearance. Every TV station within 50 miles will
be here doing interviews and two TV shows will be filmed during the event. Friday and Saturday will be crazy. I really recommend
trying to get here as soon as possible. Remember you can arrive as early as
Tuesday at no extra charge.

If anyone has any thoughts, concerns or suggestions please
do not hesitate to ask. The grounds look great and the weather has been
fantastic. This is going to be a great winter in FL.

Tim and I will be taking my Liberty to the Turkey Rod Run in
Daytona the week of Thanksgiving. Let us know if any of you will be attending
and maybe we can all park together. We have a pretty good hookup to get spots right by the track.

Located at 4175 Medulla Rd in Lakeland, the Sun n’ Fun Complex is easy to access from I-4, I-75, I-275, the Polk Parkway and U.S. 301.

Nice to hear from you. Yes 4175 Medulla Rd. is the address
to use. I will also head out in a little while to try and figure out how to get
the exact coordinates. First, I have to get the pork butt in the smoker. Lol
Tim and I are cooking today for some of the volunteers here at the facility.

We will also have good signage when you arrive. Just follow
the arrows for the Air and Coach Concours.
You will be using the main gate. When stopped, all that you have to do
is show either a hard copy or even an electronic copy (on your phone) of your
confirmation letter. Once through the gate Tim, Woody or I will meet you on a
golf cart and we will direct you to your space. Once parked we will give you a
short golf cart ride to the Cessna building where Aubrie will hand you your
welcome packet and answer any questions that you may have. Then it will be time
to relax and enjoy the beautiful Sun ‘n Fun facility.

I can’t wait to see the pictures of the cars. We will really
have some amazing stuff here at the event as well. Between the auction and the
duPont registry Cars and Coffee you will have the opportunity to see
multimillions of dollars’ worth of cars. Everything will be here from prewar
classics to the newest in modern super cars and everything in between.

Ok I’m going to get back to cooking and I will get those coordinates
posted soon.
