Our first big trip

Wash my own also but if I could find somebody out here 125 bucks sounds cheap to me for a wash job. When I pull bus out it’s go time until we get back. No time to stop and wash on my short 3 day trips. Had a friend with a High Dollar Aluminum trailer and they had that thing washed out side of an San Antone a few years back and they sprayed something on before wash and messed that puppy up big time. Don’t use pressure wash on mine.

I almost always wash my own and never use a brush, even the soft ones. I hand dry it unless I’m lucky enough to wash it just before it rains. I use something very similar to this, but with a longer handle.

I dry my coach with 65 gram Egyptian cotton towels with double rolled hand sewn scalloped edges. Then I carefully blow dry any remaining moisture that might be retained in the crevices.
But it sure sounds like a leaf blower with a Lycoming 320 Cu.In. blower motor would be more efficient.

Settle down guys! I have always washed and dried by hand…so far. Leaving Tom Sawyers yesterday I made the right call not to wash cause it drizzled for a few hours into Alabama where I went to buddy’s shop and washed before heading to camp. In Huntsville, where I grew up, very nice camp on Monte Sano Mtn, state park, very wooded, and no problem backing in at 9 pm. Looks to be about 100 spots, about 15 miles to the Space and Rocket Center, a must see if here. My 40th High School reunion weekend so here for a big time. Happy Coaching!

Well our 11 day out trip is over with 2280 miles behind us, and we love coaching it. It was nice to have our own bed every night, not to have to,drag suit cases in and out, eat when we wanted with no wait, coffee ready in the morning, meeting nice folks in campgrounds, etc. The coach operated exactly as it should, and averaged around 7.3 mpg for the trip..excellent! Might be making a trip,to upstate NY to visit a good customer but a much shorter trip. Thanks to all on PC for all of the excellent information. Happy Trails!

Life is never going to be the same now that you can really appreciate how enjoyable a coach is.
