  • Our first big trip

Posted by david on June 18, 2014 at 4:40 pm

Since our purchase of the Royale from Peter and Trina Campbell in Wyoming in March, this will be our first long trip and we are very excited. We are launching tomorrow morning from the Charlotte NC metro and heading for Nashvegas…Music city to some, to visit and entertain a customer..on Broadway! From there off to my hometown of Huntsville AL to drop daughter off at Space Camp, then to The Big Easy New Orleans, to Memphis, back to hometown for my 40 HS reunion, and back to the Carolina’s.Thanks to our friend Peter this coach is in tip top shape and ready to roll out. If you see us on the road with the hammer down, yes I am a trucker, please be sure to say hello, or give me a call at 704-226-8198.. Dave and Karen. Oh, thanks to PC, we are staying at the French. QTr campground and Tom Sawyer in Memphis….big thanks to Brother Jon for somehow putting up with my crap and 1000’s of questions.

    Happy Coaching!!

Where in Nashville will you be staying? We are at the KOA and will be for another week.

Caution on Tom Sawyer in Memphis.. If it’s raining or forecasted for rain, get the heck out. You will notice the breaker panels are like 6-10′ in the air. There is a reason for that! just sayin…

Hey Dave I hope a little dust doesnt bother you cause tom sawyer is a nice place but they got tons of silt there and anything over a slow crawl causes clouds of dust. Enjoy the view though its really cool to see all those barges going by.

Jon….we are hoping to keep this smile for many years….maybe last until I need 80 yr old facelift! The ride down here to Biloxi was good except for 3 torrential downpours in heavy traffic…so you know we had plenty of MORONS TO DODGE. We decided to stop at Biloxi Hard Rock Casino..parking right across from. There is another Prevost behind me about a block…colors look like yours. We are leaving for NOLA after walk on beach…..and by the way, nobody got lucky last night in any way!!!! Happy Trails

When you talk about getting lucky remember this is a family web site. I am presuming you have picked up where Red left off making contributions ot the Casino Widows Benefit Fund.
