Remember,
this is a No Rally, Rally, so there is no official agenda or
itinerary. For those of you that do not know Jdub (Jerry Winchester), he lives
in OKC, is a long time bus owner and goes all the way back to the
beginning of the original 11 that started POG, Inc.Jdub
(the very 1st PC member) has graciously offered to have a
BBQ at his hanger and arrange for the National Cowboy Hall of Fame
Vault Tour along with dinner. Those details are being worked out and
information will be forthcoming, cost, time, etc.So,
here is a suggested fun time while your visiting OKC and all is
optional:Friday
Evening – Hanger BBQ and ice creamSaturday
– Big Al’s famous chili cook offSaturday
Evening – Cowboy Hall of Fame vault tour and dinnerSunday
Evening – PC Pizza, BYOBMore to follow and the count will probably be 30 coaches. Not bad for a free No Rally, Rally, your due’s are being well spent….

Tom…
Do we need to sign up for the Saturday night affair? Or anything else?

Daine,
Once we get the dinner cost and information, we’ll put up a sign up sheet. My understanding is the Vault Tour is something special and not accessible to the masses.
-
The dinner at the Cowboy Hall of Fame will run 160 to 190 each. It will likely be Sunday evening and I will have the time shortly. Once all info is in hand, we’ll get a signup sheet posted.
The Pizza Saturday evening will be compliments of East Tennessee Luxury Coach, not PC.
All of these details will be posted as soon as available.

Has anyone else noticed that even though a no rally rally has no schedule or agenda, we seem to have one.
What is missing on the agenda is if Big Al is going to have a coach by then, and if he does when are we all scheduled to get the free tour along with some of Mary Ellen’s bloody Marys? I figure about 5 gallons of Bloody Marys would be just about right for 50 people.
-
Checked with Twin Fountians RV resort as of today Aug 27th we have 28 reservations.
Chili contest at 11 sign ups.
-
C’mon all you folks. You know you want to go. It’s a good excuse to exercise the coach. You all get to see the folks that populate this sight and I can assure you it will be a fine Prevost owners group that you are going to meet.
You will get free pizza courtesy of our friend Jeff, free beverages to wash it down, we all get to have some of the finest cookin there is at JDUB’s hangar, and last night’s meal sounds like a great way for all to get together and plan the next get-together.
The weather will be great and best of all one of our members who has been hiding in the weeds may have a new coach to show us.
Let’s see if we can’t turn Twin Fountains into Camp Prevost where we can spend all our spare time talking about Prevost-stuff.

Ok, I’ll admit this is going to sound very extreme or weird to some, if not most….but as a child going to the lake,
one of the many things I loved to do was watch as new boats arrived at the boat ramp. I yearned for the day that would be my family launching our own boat. Once my father bought his first cabin cruiser, life was complete….or so I thought. I love watching videos of Prevost busses, love the looks, love the sounds…love it all. So my question to those comming to our fair city in a couple of weeks is this, are most of you arriving on Friday? I would love nothing more than so sit back and enjoy all your rigs meandering down the streets and parking…have I said I love the sound of the diesels…and, oh yes, I love the sound of the air system venting. Its the little things in life sometimes…lol
-
It looks like our arrival will be on the 25th.
Usually rally arrivals are prior to and the first day of a rally so the spacing of arrivals seems to be inconsistent.
-
We are scheduled for Prevost Ft Worth on Tuesday am. on the 23rd and will be at OKC by Thursday if all goes as planned. Fingers crossed!!
Can’t wait to get there !!

Gerard, we will also be arriving the 25th. Hopefully Owen will be in town and we can get the “old girl” washed. You are more than welcome to join us and probably Jon,& Di and Tom & Nancy ? for a beverage or two and watch them glide and hiss in. Oh….and Larry and Diane and who ever else comes early.
-
BTW, the new guy always is expected to provide gifts, drinks, and sometimes a catered dinner for the more senior members.
Just kidding about the catered dinner.
-
As long as you let him off the hook on the dinner…..he should have enough left to buy a bus.
