I tried the card a couple of days ago at the pump of a listed station. It said declined, so brought it inside and it was also declined. Called TSD and they said the station has to use Trendar? when they process the card. I’m hoping the big players use the Trendar? system as I would like to try the card once just to see what the discounts are. When I called TSD they said I would be getting a daily update from Prevost Community every day with discounts? I thought I would be receiving an email daily from TSD? Still trying to find out if this card will provide a discount great the Profit tools.

Got forms printing. Good work. Now if TSD keeps changing things and doesn`t update us and cards don`t work then back to profit tools. Don`t need this frustration when traveling.

I’m not making excuses, but just want to indicate there are a lot of moving parts required to make some of the stuff on our web site work. Our guy Joe spends a lot of time listening to Tom and I bitch, and he does his best to fix stuff, sometimes even stuff that isn’t broke, but should work better.
When he does a big change like adding a second discount option which changes a lot of what goes on behind the scenes, including our admin fuel program registration list he does a good job. But every now and then he gets blindsided.
We have to handshake with some of our discount providers, and in this case TSD, but he is defenseless if something happens outside of his bailiwick so bear with us, keep the faith, and trust us to insure it will work as intended.
We know you want it trouble free, but not as much as Tom and I. I think last evening I had 29 emails about the problem. And Joe was out of town.

Dickb, The Profit card is good for only 10 cent discount at Loves, cash price everywhere else. One dollar, fifty cent fee at all places except at Loves, out of network charge. One dollar fee everywhere for less than 100 gallon purchase.
TSD card good for cash price everywhere the Profit card is, no fees for less than 100 gallons or out of network. The discount is only at Loves, largest one at 40+ cents, TA/Petro, 30+ cents and Pilot, about 8 cents. You pay 10% fee of the discount below posted cash price. If not at one of the mentioned truck stops, no discount below cash and no fee.
Does this help you understand the superior points to TSD vs Profit?
I would like to add that the current cash price at Loves’ Baytown is $2.849. My daily email from TSD has todays discounted price at Baytown Loves at $2.3876, a discount of $0.4614. So one would pay $2.4337 per gallon.
The Profit price would be $2.74 per gallon plus a dollar fee if I did not purchase more than 100 gallons.
Next week I am going to San Antonio. On my return I will fill up so as to be completely full while I am sitting at my home spot. I will need less than 100 gallons to fill up so no fee from TSD per Gina and no concern either per Gina cause I checked.

Thanks Rudy!
Thanks Tom!
Thanks Jon!
I was able to get the link and download the documenation. Filled it out, scanned it, and just emailed it to Joy Hanson-Hickerson.
Hopefully I’ll get my card in time to use it on a trip next week.
I’ve suspected that the price of diesel, specially for volume users is like a leather jacket in Tijuana … very few pay the posted price, some get a little discount, others get a big discount.

We need a secure way to transmit this information (checking a/c #) to them. Scanning and emailing is not secure. Do we have the fax #? Additionally, why do they need my SSN?
-
My forms printed.
One of them is called Schedule C and has a place for all kinds of limits. All of the limits are blank, but they want my signature at the bottom. I am not crazy about signing a blank page that can be filled into their heart’s desire.
-
Now Davy,
These are the limits you choose to set. So for Diesel put $500, $800 or what ever you think you will not exceed in a day and put zero (0) in every other blank and sign it.
Profit set our daily limit at $800 which is the limit I am using for TSD.
Go for it.

MKeithT, Good questions.
Fax number is 972.499.1395
SSN is needed because no one is credit checked. So if someone defaults, the SSN is the way to positively identify whom they are asking to pay up.
EVERYONE, be sure to fill in the referral spot with Prevost Community so they know how many new folks the forum is providing.
-
Rudy, I set my limit at 500 Gallons and I did put PC as referral. Good point. I got called saying my card(s) are done and will be out in tomorrows mail. Hope to get them by Saturday as leaving Sunday.
Thank you my friend.
Fred

Send my application in mid morning and got the call as I was driving home. Card will be in the mail tomorrow.

Cards came today along with a signed copy of the documents so you do have a record of what limits you set.
Of note is the prices on the app are not the discounted prices. The actual prices are only on the daily email right now. Loves prices are impressive. Pilot/Flying J appeared to be little different from full price. Knowing the fraud that Pilot pulled on the trucking industry has caused me to avoid them as much as possible anyway.

Rudy,
I don’t think I’ve been getting a daily email. Can you tell me what the title of it is or the sender so I can search my spam folder?
