    DKO,

I guess I just wouldn’t put my chassis year in my sig. If I needed parts then maybe I would specify the chassis year but otherwise, it would be confusing listing two model years in your sig.

It was mentioned today that we are getting a new feature for Liberty Coach units. They are installing a ‘insta-hot’ electric hot water unit for continuous hot water along with the regular hot water tank. We’ll probbally be the fifth unit with this new install.

    Hi Sid,

We also have that feature on our Dynasty (aqau hot) with the two electric heating elements. Liberty added this feature (new unit to the market) just in case you are on electric and need more hot water, this new unit will provide continuous hot water as long as you want it without turning on the diesel unit (if I undertand it all correctly).

Touring the new ‘in progress’ units today was amazing. Seeing the guts of the plumbing system being installed was very impressive. Liberty Coach uses all copper plumbing.

All of the top Prevost converters are ‘top notch’…. can’t go wrong with any of them. It’s like picking between a Bentley, Aston Martin or Masserati…… all about the same price range but a little different for tastes.

    Safe travels,

    Mark

The ‘Elegant Lady’ needs to have custom sheets made to fit the custom made mattress. Do your Prevosts have a custom mattress?

There is a lady that makes them for Liberty Coach from her shop or you can send her the sheets that you like and she will make the adjustments. The mattresses are rounded at the end corners so the sheets need to be adjusted.

I definitely want a set of flannel sheets along with normal cotton sheets. Nothing like flannel in the winter.

Our bed has rounded corners but there is absolutely no advantage to customize the sheets unless your bed is really a wierd shape… A fitted sheet hugs the rounded corners perfectly and the flat top sheet just has a little longer corner which is nice if the like to tuck your sheets in neatly… It wouldn’t benefit me at all. Just sayng.

    Cheers,

    Diane

    What Diane said.

I think the closest size we can buy off the shelf is “California King” and they work fine.

We did have Rod and Nancy of “Stitches” make a custom bed spread which was a perfect fit and it made it way easier to make the bed.

    Thank you for the reply’s.

Well, that will save me a few bucks so that I can buy fuel! LOL! Yay!

I will have a mattress pad made as I want that to have a tight fit. The mattress is normal except for the rounded ends.

I can a appreciate how you feel, lots of decisions in a short period of time leaving hoping it all is going to look good. We did the same with the flat finish. Very exciting looking forward to learning about your progress and seeing the pictures.

Dmatz, congratulations on your new Newell! Wow, they are beautiful for sure as we certainly considered that brand. You just don’t know how much I teetered from one brand to the next (even Prevost converters). Every manufacturer has their pluses and minuses.

A person just has to decide which fits them best. When Jon told me every coach is a compromise, it just made sense to me so I leaned towards the Prevost. It is exciting building a new coach as you get to pick out every item, etc.

    Safe travels,

Received a phone call today that the paint design sample is being sent ‘next day’ so we’ll see in true color what the new paint job will look like for final approval.

    Yeah!

Received the paint sample for the new coach. WOW, we are very pleased.

There are so many colors and designs that I like and I think we found one that fits the color palate and design that we like. Liberty’s paint designer is amazing…….he certainly has talent.

    This is a fun project.
