We are headed to Jeff’s place after OKC… Larry spoke with Jeff a few minutes ago and he is ordering our tires and is going to check everything out… shocks, airbags, brakes, norgrens, the whole works.
I am so looking forward to Jeff checking it all out !!
We are booked in for Wed Oct 1st.

Big Al is headed to Jeff’s after OKC following me on my way to Sevierville for a few days. I see a caravan in our future….

Well that sucks. Am I going to be the only XL among the caravan of plastic H’s? Can we get some of that stainless bling to joint the caravan?????????
My concerns are about “Uncle” Al. He hasn’t put enough miles on his new ride yet, and already he has a sign with his name on it, and a permanent parking spot at repair facilities around the nation.

I’m pretty sure the Coburg Queen will be making smoke soon, the local establishments will feel the pain with Al gone.

Hammer down big Al. Once you get to the top of the Continental Divide even if it all goes bad on you you should be able to coast into OKC.
And you can be sure we will all display suitable amounts of sympathy.

Are you asking me if mine is fixed yet? If so, nope. Still no parts. Supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday if all goes well. Parts are coming from 3 different depots.
I will be a happy camper when it IS finally fixed….maybe we can even use it once or twice before the snow comes.

A&E Tire , our Michelin dealer, in Commerce City Co has a good supply of 315/80’s Energy tires, and a few 365. They said they have Michelin reps in their office daily, and none have mentioned discontinuing the 315 Energy tires, just a manufacturing backlog
The Energy 315’s sell over-the-counter here for $798/each. What is the current “tire program” price these days. Our steer tires have been developing “river wear” or “rivering”, where a wavy wear pattern has developing on a tire rib, either the edge or in the middle of rib, which the Michelin dealer says isnormal ? Searching google, I found considerable reading on the Wanderlodge forum about “rivering”, which apparently is more prevalent on Michelin 315

Rivering happens on tires with no wear bar on edge of tire, 315 ‘s have no wear bar 365’ s have wear bar and they do not do that

Well… here we are at Jeff’s… day 3 here for us and mountains have been moved… we have new shocks, new air filter (air dryer) Culligan RO filter make over with new faucet and filters (was disconnected by previous owner), New cell antenna on roof with amp and indoor antenna, brakes checked, 4 new 315s installed, Pressure Pro installed, new bushings rear suspension, bay door adjustments,(one flew open on freeway and lost a chair) 2 airbags already installed… rest will be done today. 365s will be here on Monday installed and hopefully we will hit the road for home.
It has been a great experience here at Jeff’s they all work so hard and Jeff meets himself at the door,never stops.. such a great service center !!
Al is here working on his “H” along with Jeff doing airbags etc… Al’s butt is all we see…he’s got his head buried in projects all over his coach… he’s like a kid in a candy store… loves making improvements… someone will have an awesome coach if and when he sells it !!! I bet it’s not his “last coach” !!
We came here from OKC after the Rally… we followed Jon and Di… spending the night at Prevost Nashville….swapped a few tales over dinner and enjoyed ourselves.
Al, Tom & Nancy were a few hours behind us.
Be sure to consider Jeff’s place for all your Prevost needs… I don’t think there is anything he can’t do.. I’m still trying to find something he doesn’t know but no luck so far !!
It will be wonderful to hit the road home knowing that all this “stuff” is done and not worrying about having a blowout or anything!!

traveling from Montana to South Carolina I stopped at Jeff’s to schedule some work on my way back to Texas. He fixed more in the 30 min I was there just to talk with him than any other shop I have tried. The trip from Texas to Tenn. is not to far for me to have work done by someone that has an idea what they are doing. He went out of his way to get me in and make your stay plesent. He was there late on a Saturday night so I could leave Sunday to be back home for a Rotary Event.
