I presume each section is 4′ long. So when you want to get to the top of the coach you turn the thing into a straight ladder 16′ long. Correct?

Caution boys…. If you’re drawing SS, you’re not allowed on the roof or any ladder taller than 18″.

Geo used mine in Foley and made Cory and Ben do the climbing, they’re young.

Here is what I use and like while traveling. Doesn’t take up much room, has non-marring plastic at each joint and works great. 32″ tall x 19″ wide. Not certain why 2 of the pictures are horizontal??

Did Geo give directions to the climbing crew from a chair with a drink in his hand?

Dick, I think mine as an extension ladder is 13 or 14 feet tall. With a comfortable slope leaning against the coach the ladder sticks over the awning boxes by a small amount.

The only time I have been on the roof when on the road was to move the TV antenna to the right position so it would fold down completely. At home I use a 10 foot step ladder to get up on the slide roof and then from there I go on the main roof.

I think getting on the roof with the travel ladder requires a very good ladder of sufficient height, and even then only when absolutely necessary. I think it is risky, but more importantly I don’t think our roof was meant to support us so I avoid it unless absolutely necessary.

Standard supply Little Giant in the extention mode. Note the padded ends for extension mode as it rest against coach.. Dealing with storm damaged awning at campground from severe winds that sucked out a closed zip dee awning. I found someone smaller than me to go ontop and at least save my roof!!!
