I just had Dee and his guys at Metal Specialists of Augusta build me a new SS tank for my Liberty. $2,700 replicated from my very nasty original. Also repaired my leaky fresh tank. (706) 724-8840

If you own a Liberty and you have an aluminum holding tank be alert for leaks. Aluminum is quickly and easily corroded and the leaks resulting from that property can range from pin holes across the bottom to complete disintegration of the flanges that various pipes and tubes are connected to.
Liberty claims tank corrosion is because owners fail to flush or clean the holding tanks, but there has been such a number of tank replacements it is more likely cleaning may only delay replacement. On my coach I had an aluminum tank when I bought it. The coach at the time was 6 years old so I arranged to have a new tank made in my old factory. When I pulled and replaced my tank I found despite my coach’s relatively young age one of the fittings had already been repaired due to corrosion and the main drain fitting was literally ready to have a total failure.
Replace the tank with anything other than aluminum.
Full disclosure: My daughter now owns my former factory and she has provided stainless steel tanks to ETLC.

In the boating world everything is bonded to a common ground to help slow/prevent electrolysis/corrosion. Wondering if creating a bonding/grounding to the tank would help slow the corrosion progression?

Just making the tank out of stainless steel as my previous 2 coaches were ends the problems completely.
Look at the photo above and the smaller fitting had already been repaired despite it being located above the presumed contents level after the tank is drained.
I look at aluminum holding tanks as service items like oil filters or belts.
