B500 is 1:1 in 4th. 5th & 6th or overdrive gears.

That’s why the difference in rear gear ratio.

So my Diff is spinning slower than yours, but my tranny is spinning faster in high gear. Your profile probably looks like this.

Your pinion is spinning slower than mine for a given mph. Your pinion rotates 3.58 revolutions to the ring gears (and drive tire) 1 revolution. Mine rotates 4.56 revolutions to the ring gears (and drive tire) 1 revolution.

If we’re both going 65 mph with the same diameter drive tire, your and my ring gears are turning at the same rpm. But my pinion is spinning faster than yours.
