I hope that Liberty fills the tank with diesel as I’ll stop when it runs out and that’s where we’ll live as all our money will be gone. LOL!
But, at least we’ll be look’n good!

As Tom mentioned he and I have been researching lithium batteries and I think they are going to be the future.
In general terms they are going to offer a substantial weight reduction from our current AGM batteries for the same storage capacity. They are going to last much longer, but you don’t throw them away. They can be rebuilt for a fraction of their original cost.
A big benefit is from a fully charged state to immediately prior to shut down they supply a constant voltage, unlike our current batteries which have a voltage drop off as they lose their charge.
I have learned not to question design decisions made by our converters. When any of them install multiple alternators, inverters or other devices the decision was likely made after extensive study and all of the converters now are providing a lot of electrical power because buyers want to run down the road without sacrificing any comfort or convenience.
MM is going to love his new coach, and I hope he will continue to share with us his experiences as he goes through the process of having it built and begins putting it to use.

I think Liberty is using the aircraft battries, they are 24 volt. and not 12 volts.

Liberty Coach uses Lithium Iron Phosphate vs. Lithium Cobalt Oxide which is much more volatile from what is explained on their website.

Yes, they are 24V, as are most big lithiums. I stated their capacity in watts, so the DC voltage would be irrelevant to the AC calculation. I assume there are still some 12V loads. So, they will need a sufficiently sized DC to DC converter.
FWIW, these batteries are list at over $10K a battery at West Marine. That might make $7,500 price feel like a bargain.
