Gil, seems a little pricey. We just had the drivers done last month for 150. Was quoted 200 for pass seat, but didn’t need it.

Maybe I paid too much, which seems to be the norm lately, but the seats turned out great! The foam that was in the ISRI seat was thin and was easy to collapse. The new foam is much denser, I think they said something about 2.5 something. I also had them increased the foam on the front because the seat bottom doesn’t tilt enough for me. Although I only drove it a few miles I’m optimistic this is going to make long drives so much better.

While there my wife opted to change out the couch. It too was not comfortable. We opted for a dual recliner sofa. Wow is it comfortable! This change has me retinking my front TV upgrade. I’m leaning toward the removal of the desk and associated drawers. In their place I’ll but in an entertainment cabinet and wall hunging cabinet that houses a 40″ or so LED TV on a lift. When it’s not in use it won’t be seen, when needed it will raise out of the cabinet.

    Gil,

You’ll notice a big difference after sitting in the seat for hours, the old foam just doesn’t offer any support.

With the re-foam of the drivers seat, went from one hour till dis-comfort to ten-twelve hours. Cheap fix at any price!

It looks great. I need to find someone that can fix the leaking lumbar support in mine. Suggestions?

Is the lumbar support leaking or is it the air switches which seem to have the life span of a gnat? I think Boater Al just ordered new switches for his.

Fixing the leaking switches isn’t all that bad, but if it leaks at the lumbar bladder in the seat back, that would probably be a nightmare.

I just had the switches fixed. It will now last a half an hour before going flat.

Yes, another air leak on a Irsi seat. Replaced the trio switch block. $103 dollars for that genuine plastic switch. Was leaking air on the supply port attached on side.

I like the seat but quality in construction sucks. The last repair was replacement of the main up /down air supply valve. comes as kit only just to get the switch which was the only thing I needed.

The previous owner , original owner replaced the Iris seats with Knoedler seats I really like them no problems so far, I like the massage on after several hours of driving, seats are heated and cooled bad to the bone! gary
