Yes and Yes. They have NO knowledge about how a DDECI works and they have no hardware to test it. They just fired it up using the DD specs and hoped for the best.

A turbo boost reading should be zero until power (RPM’s) increase. While 14 PSI might represent atmospheric pressure, no turbo boost gauge or reading I have ever seen starts at 14. Turbo boost is always measured as an increase from atmospheric pressure.
I should clarify. The “gauge” does not read 14. When you hook up the DDEC reader to the coach “that” reads 14 while the dash gauge reads 0.

If things work like they are supposed to then you act cooler. When things go bad any the train goes off the rails, then you are allowed to react in an uncool matter. IT IS A NATURAL LAW OF NATURE AND COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE. AFTER ALL MOST OF US ARE ONLY HUMAN.

I have owned my coach for 8 years and accumulated 30K miles. 64 years old still employed paying taxes. Over the years I have discovered how many of the systems work on the coach thanks to great support by former CC employees and previous owners who kept many of the original manuals to give me a clue as to what was what.
I am willing to share any knowledge of the CC conversion and I know others will participate.
Saw FulltimeBill has a similar coach. Wondering if there are others?

I wish it was a CC issue with the engine but i don’t believe it has anything to do with CC. It appears to be a Detroit Diesel issue and they refuse to offer any help. Even Bill Jensen got involved with DD and they sent us to what was supposed to be one of their top trouble-shooters. He looked at the issue, called DD and they would never return his call. Just another wasted effort.
