we are seeing coaches that are 8-10 years old that have been for sale s very long time. Another lending source we used in the past said an 2009 era coach was considered “old!” Those from 2003 priced from the 300’s and up don’t seem to be selling probably for that reason. Can’t get financing. Regardless of age, no one will loan to us

Jim, that is depressing because a properly maintained 15 or 20 year old Prevost still has a far greater life span ahead of it than a brand new RV. Even more depressing is the lack of suitable financing leads to substantially lower values which in turn leads to lenders losing value for the asset securing the loan, which leads to substantially fewer coaches being financed which leads to lower values………….

Anyone see a pattern here?

What is ironic is in the automotive market place certain run of the mill vehicles that were never high value have prices racing to the moon. Look at what is happening on old Ford Broncos (the small ones) Toyota FJ-40 (the original ones), VW buses, some Mustangs, etc.
