It’s mounted to the floor plywood above the holding tank, he didn’t mean it was mounted to the tank itself. The pump on my 2001 is exactly in the same place as was my 94. Liberty does a good job with flexible connections so the PVC pipes can be removed to make access to the pump easier. I did both mine without removing all the pipes, not easy, but doable.
