Was Legendary a coach converter or is it a model of another converter? I see several for sale, but not sure about the converter.
Any good/bad on a Legendary coach?

I believe Mark can give some insight regarding his experience with his coach. Roger has it now and I understand he is very happy with it.
Both guys are experienced long term owners so if they respond their opinions are going to be valid.

Legendary was in Coburg, OR just down the street from Marathon. They did about 30 coaches total, all XLII models if I remember correctly. I had coach #26 and it was pretty good. They used most of the same parts as the other converters do, and actually were ahead of the game in things like running CAT5 cables out to the tv sets so you could upgrade. This was a 2006 model year shell, and was titled as a 2008.
We bought ours new from a dealer in TX where it had been sitting for about 2 years. I put a little over 60,000 miles on it before we traded it in for our Liberty. I had no major house issues, other than replacement of the electric sewer valves, and the Headhunter water pump. I did get Prevost to do the rivet repair, and they covered the entire cost as we were the original owners, and the coach was less than 10 years old.
We liked it, and thought it had a nice layout. The main reason we traded was we wanted something a bit newer and with more room and closet / storage space. We also liked the 3rd slide that we have now.
I have talked to Roger many times, and he seems happy with it. I gave him all of the service history since it was new, so he had a good idea of what had been done.
Some of the ones for sale have basement a/c. I don’t know anything about them as we had 4 roof airs on our coach. Some other members here have had the basement units, and may be able to jump in and comment on them.

Brett,
Welcome from another Texan and we live in Tyler. My family and I appreciate your service to our country. The two guys at Legacy Coach are very helpful. I have talked with the both of them several times and been to the dealership.
