Great Rally

Bob, first of all let us say that it was a pleasure meeting you at Shelbyville. Trust us, the only glitz at Branson was the stainless. Jon, Di, Tom and Nancy did a wonderful job organizing the event and still had the right amount of down time to socialize and get to know people. The amount of time Bill, Robert and Jim from Prevost spent with us was incredible, plus their going to our individual coaches to offer their expertise was priceless. Can’t wait to see where people want to go next year. How about Austin ? Hey Jon……did Di find the hay on the hummer ?

Corey (or George), she never saw it. It was O’dark 30 when we left and by the time we got to Nashville for the night it was gone.

Charles I’m sorry I couldn’t make it and help you with the Liberty crowd. The more I dig into my CC and the more I have the opportunity to dig into a newer Libertys, I now believe the Liberty owners may be just a bit jealous. Let me just say that without Troy at Liberty many Liberty owners may find themselves stranded.
Each converter did some great things, good things, and some things that have me stratching my head wondering what they were thinking. Most owners know what is good and bad, so no need to start another chain of posts on why one believes their coach is better than someone elses.
I own a 99 Country Coach and have no regrets,

Just for the record, Liberty has considerable depth on the bench for answering questions, but Troy is the go to guy, not the only one.
And trust me, I have never been jealous of any CC. I have seen some very nice ones, but I have seen very nice coaches made by just about all converters.

Now that everyone has used up all the great descriptive words and phrases of praise, all we can do is agree completely!
Jon and Di, Tom and Nancy, you did a wonderful job of making us all feel welcome and included. Thank you.
To everyone else, we have never met a more friendly group of people. You are intelligent and interesting and we value the time we were able to spend getting to know you. We are looking forward to next time….when ever…..where ever !
As new owners, this rally could not have come at a better time. We learned so much and have gained a certain amount of confidence. Priceless!

You’re off base on your comment about Liberty owners being stranded without Troy. The company is alive and well and have lots of folks who can support the owners. It always sounds as though you have the Country Coach chip on your shoulder. We all understand you are in love with your orphan and that’s fine, but you seem to go out of your way to take shots at Liberty without ever owning one. We’ll I have owned both, a 2000 CC that is now Jamie’s and my current Liberty, so I’m qualified to make comments about the two Conversions. You will note I don’t make negative comments about CC, but I sure could.

Great Rally !! We got to see a lot of old friends we have not seen in a while, and make a lot of new friends. Had a real good time and learned a lot. I don’t think Jon and Tom could have done better for a 1st rally. It will be hard to go up from here but I know they can do it. Looking forward to the next time we can all get together.

We have been reading everything on this fourm for over a year, learning an amazing amount about Prevost coaches and chuckling to the friendly banter among the participants. Many of the topics discussed during the seminars at Branson had been written about on the fourm giving us new students more reinforcement for what we need to pay attention to in our coach education.
Coming to the rally in Branson and meeting so many great people solidified our opinion as to what a wonderful and special group this truly is. Everyone we met was so friendly and so willing to share their knowledge and enthusiasm about the coaches. The mix of activities was just right. It kept us short attention span students on the ball.
Many thanks to Jon, Tom, Di,& Nancy for all their hard work in putting this rally together for all of us. We had a really good time and are so pleased to have met so many of you and hope to see you again.
It has pushed me to hurry up and put my coach back together.

No chip here. I was trying to help out Charles with the Liberty owners that were picking on his CC. I didn’t realize you were so sensitive. Anyway, as I’ve said many times I think all converters did some really good things and I’m pretty sure all did some things that are hard to understand.

Well, The only shortage at Branson was the H crowd I believe there was only 3 in attendance, I had to wear my sunglasses when around the XLs but thats ok they are or will be the classics, but I lean towards the H3-45. Gary

I think I counted 5 H3’s

I counted six, a Liberty, 2 Marathons and 3 Featherlite/Vantare

I think for the most part, any Prevost converted by anybody will serve us well.
I’m just proud to have anyone of them.

Fuzzy and I are sorry to have missed the Branson Rally, but we’ll be at next year’s get together!
