Or, you could set the Allison to shift to second with the Jake on like it’s designed to, and let the tranny take care of the shifting!

Good idea Mike but it’s not really that big a deal.

Michael, mine is the same as yours but an earlier delivery date in April of 99 so it is a few months older than yours.

This must be where the cutoff was for gear selection indication. With that said if they are both DDEC III and the same tranny, wheres the difference.

My coach number is CC # 60367 and Prevost W1026472.

    Michael,

Help me understand the problem. If a CC owner doesn’t have or cannot see the shift pad and hence the gear selected I understand the benefit of having it displayed on the substitute for the failed CC dash (er I mean the replacement dash).

But if you have a gear shift pad visible from the driving position how is a second display going to make the selected gear known any more than the red letters that are so big Stevie Wonder can see them.

You know, when you look at the tach and your doing 2200 RPM you would think “ok what the hell is wrong here” and look at the shift pad and notice your in 3rd gear doing 60 MPH.

You admin people just love picking on poor young inexperienced drivers, don’t you!

Just wait till I get to Florida

    Now Jon,

You know my Country Coach Glass Dash did not fail, I chose to upgrade it to a Silverleaf, the latest and greatest.

And just like airplane instrumentation has moved from analog gauges to digital displays, so have automobiles, motorcycles, phones, cash registers, ham radios, etc…

I notice you did not include flip phones and four tracks in your list.

Todo, just a word of caution whereby you do not get kicked
    off this site.
    You are NOT allowed to
use the word “cheap” or any derivative of it (cheap cheaper or cheapest) and
the word Liberty in the same sentence.
    Any
photos MUST also show highly polished copper piping.
Admin was probably sipping an adult beverage
and just missed your faux pa.

    **sarcasm
    off**

Seriously, some of the members have adapted an iPad to read like a Siver Leaf. Maybe one will jump in here.

    Stay safe.

Ok, are there any digital dashes out there that are not $5,000? Better?
