Guys, we need to recognize that the heavy lifting was done by Alicia. She has been responsive, great to work with, willing to accomodate our needs and very understanding of how we use our coaches.

For all of you that have registered and have received your cards. I will be sending you updated welcome letters with the bi-fold carriers for your cards, we have also included inserts for your bi-fold regarding how to use the cards, the program details, the link to the fuel location map, as well as my contact information for when you are out on your travels.
The really great service that we have put together for you is a map of the locations that are included in this program and directions. I will be including the link to the maps in the updated welcome letter.

Alicia has done it again! In her previous post she talks about including the links to the maps for the fuel discount program.
I have been playing with the links and I can tell you they are an amazing trip planning tool. All the locations are shown on the maps and since it is Google based it is both familiar and easily worked.
We are not showing the links because they are solely for the benefit of program participants and we ask that you bookmark them, but don’t spread them around out of respect for our program administrator’s wishes.

Now it is up to us to get all Prevost enthusiasts participating. So folks if you have not yet signed up, do it now, and spread the word amongst the other Prevost groups so everyone has an opportunity to save fuel dollars.

Okay so along those lines here are some more great benefits to this program.
You are able to also receive the following:
Oil – $500
Gasoline – $500
Additives – $300
Tires: Up to $8000
Propane: $500
Cash Withdrawal: $1500 per day $4500 per week (you have to purchase fuel to receive cash withdrawal and would have to go inside the stop for the transaction)
These benefits are included in the $800 daily card limit.

If you do what I used to do your average fill up will be in the 230 gallon range and at 10 cents a gallon the savings will buy Sam a happy meal or two.
With your range on the coach, when you sign up you will get links to the fuel location maps. By being able to tanker fuel due to your fuel capacity you can make a serious impact on the cost to fill the tanks.

For those of you that registered and have received your cards before today, I have mailed the bifold for your cards as well as the insert that I spoke of in earlier posts. These inserts have important information about your fuel card program.
For those of you that haven’t received your cards before today, your cards, bifolds and inserts have been mailed today.

Tom and I are owners just like all of you, and while we have gotten a lot of kudos for some of what we do, keep in mind we do what we do because as owners these things are what we want. We want a free site where everyone can come to link up with advertisers who serve our needs, to participate in a forum so we can exchange ideas and get answers, and to have fun on a forum sharing ideas and getting answers.
We want the same thing everyone else does.
Because neither of us was gainfully employed and paying to develop this site was cheaper than a mistress and almost as much fun, we created PC so we could get a whole bunch of Prevost enthusiasts together because we all know there is strength in numbers. And as our numbers continue to increase along with the activity on the site, in our fuel program and at rallies there are going to be some really great things coming down the pike. All of you are the power to make things happen. So if you want more of what we have been able to bring to the table so far, keep participating. Our advertisers, our fuel program administrator, and all the others that are making things happen rely on you.
BTW, while it is very much appreciated when you thank us for what is happening, keep one very important thing in perspective. Tom and I can do what we are doing because the advertisers who contribute to PC are supporting our efforts and they need your patronage, support and thanks. Without them this wouldn’t happen.

Well, I never had a mistress, but Mstruk claims I may indeed have one and it’s in the barn!
I can’t wait for the next trip so I can use the fuel card, is that sick or what! Being able to shell out 4000 bucks for fuel and not going inside the Truckstop to get inline with the hot shower folks and the guy complaining about too much hot sauce on his burrito is making me smile.
What I don’t understand is why this program is getting such a slow start. Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of folks signing up, but I can think of about 25 people that should be all over this and they’re silent. I’m still trying to figure out what could possibly be the downside. Any idea’s? Could it be because some want to use a credit card instead of paying via the checking account debit? I get a measly 1% on my card that can’t compare to .10 cents a gallon discount. I suppose some want to delay paying for the fuel until the credit card statement is due.
That’s all OK, just wondering if there is something Jon and I are missing.
