We showed up last night and got a site in the 600 loop. Prefect temperatures for Disney.

We saw you last night in the parking lot up front. We got here just a few minutes before you. Perfect weather for Disney!

Hey guys, how about a picture of the sites. We haven’t been there in years because of the sites designed for stage coaches, but I understand this 500 and 600 loop is better.

As you can see, where our buses fit in, the sites are fairly generously sized.

I’m just curious, but why do so many campgrounds have coaches back in on the blind side?

It’s not that big a deal, but it shows the folks laying out the sites probably have never owned an RV. I can imagine the new owner of a fifth wheel see-sawing his way into the site,

Same as I used to experience driving, blind side docks because whoever designed the access never drove anything bigger than a pickup.

More likely they never drove anything bigger than a Chevy Vega…I was always amazed at how much money they would spend on buildings, and then only about 50 cents designing the loading docks, driveways and parking areas for trailers.

I can’t even back the race trailer into the driveway with the Suburban on the blind side … I end up all over the lawn. Have never tried to back the bus or bus/trailer from the blind side down the driveway. If I’m going to be headed in the wrong direction, go around the block and get headed in the right direction!

    Darrell,

It was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for all you help and lending John some of your cool gadgets. Maybe next time I’ll take you up and try that segway.

Left coach is at Tradewinds getting some work done. Happy New Year.

Hope to see you again on our travels.

    Susie and John
