Same here with our coach. It is still gravity fill because the solenoid valve just opens a path in the water flow so water from the supply can drop into the tank. I suppose it would be easy enough to replace the connection point of the solenoid valve with a hose fitting so the faucet at the campground becomes the means of controlling water flow into the tank.

C-Bus, both George and I have Hs and our gravity fill is in the water bay, upper left hand side behind the swinging door that gives you access to the hose and cable reels. My cable connection is mid floor behind the chrome slide plate by the dump connection. Same with park telephone connection (tells you how old my coach is, I have a phone connection)

our fresh tank is in center of bay 2. It’s close to 200 gallons. We have auto fill buttons, but no way to feed hose to a pipe dir3ctly connected to water tank. Our Prevost beaver bus was same way. Flip a switch and in goes water separate from shore hose city connection. Trade off is we have holding dump button inside. Haven’t had that since our 2002 XLII single slide Marathon we owned from 2002-4

Jim, I know that the H and the XL are plumbed different and unfortunately George and I have the H Vantare and both coaches are almost identical with minor differences here and there. In don’t know, or at least can’t remember, anyone with a Featherlite XL, but maybe George knows. I can rattle off several with the H Vantare

Wish I could help you more. Enjoy the new ride.
