    I remembered Peters kick heater post at the time of our H3-45 purchase. We have 2 electric units when inspected were probably original.

    Had Marathon replace both. Of course routine lint inspection also is suggested.

    BTW Peter, thanks for the tip.

    Steve They were cadet also but new style I got them from toolfetch

    I found your post and followed the link to the Product Safety Commission. The link is shut down for now. I found the information on Cadet’s site. http://cadetheat.com/heater-upgrade-program Thanks for the information. I bet there a a ton of them still out there and in use….
