Featherlite Intros Vogue 6000LX

High-end Class A and bus conversion motorhome builder Featherlite Inc. has introduced the Vogue 6000LX which includes a new composite construction and technology-driven features.

The custom-built 6000LX was designed to accommodate up to four slideouts and it will be mounted on a chassis assembled at the Featherlite Inc. plant in Pryor, Okla.

The first 6000LX included a 500-horsepower (hp) Caterpillar 3406 diesel engine, but all future models will feature the 550-hp version of the Cat 3406.

All 6000LX units will be 45-feet long and the walls will be made from fiberglass, balsa and NitaCore panels. “The 6000LX is the industry’s first composite luxury motor coach,” said Conrad Clement, Featherlite’s president and CEO. “The exterior is aerodynamically designed and is constructed of composite panels similar to those used in manufacturing some of the finest yachts in the world.”

The 6000LX was in development for two years, Clement added.

No retail price was available.

A 6000LX unit will be displayed at Featherlite’s manufacturing/sales facility in Sanford, Fla., from Jan. 11-16 and at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa Jan. 17-21.

Terri Roberts is Paul Davis’ X wife and has taken over since Paul has retired. This coach is nice- great cabinets- not a Prevost and- personal opinion- commode out in open- a deal breaker for us
