Thanks everyone for your participation; here are the results so far:

We have about 50 voters and we’re starting to see a picture. If you have it in you, here’s the poll link:
Poll: where did you buy your coach? (no registration, anonymous, and select as many choices as you wish).

The
shame of it all, now the Bluebird convert is even taking bow shots at
me. There is a 50% chance you boy’s are going to get a due’s increase
if this humiliation continues. The other 50% due’s assessor is too
busy taking dance lessons in Knoxville because he heard there was a
talent contest coming for seniors with a grand prize of tickets for
two via Greyhound to the Bobby Darin exhibit at the Rock n Roll Hall
of Fame.Hey,
I wouldn’t make this stuff up… -
Ignore bus boy Tom. I am now officially declaring that all dues paid by our members are being rebated.
The check is in the mail.
-
That’s great. Can I have mine in £sterling please? LOL
-
Andy,
For you we will make the exception. Everybody else will have to be content with monopoly money.

Here’s the latest independent neilsen rating on coach purchases and Tom’s selling dilemma:
If you meet a stranger with a Prevost the odds are 6:1 in favor of him not being the original owner, 3:2 in favor of him buying from a dealer or converter, and 15:1 that he’s happy with his seller! If the owner’s name is Tom and he’s known as Pete or Re-Pete on a popular Prevost forum named PC and the prevost is an H3, then you may want to make him an offer! 🙂
-
Thank goodness Grizz is a seasoned veteran of on-line forums. Who would have guessed his original post would have morphed into an all encompassing survey that appears to prove Tom is single handedly keeping the Prevost re-sale business alive and well.
How about more of you taking the survey so David can read the tea leaves and come to more conclusions about the Prevost market.
Vote early and vote often.
-
I should temper the above by saying: the aforementioned statistical report is accurate with a confidence interval of somewhere between 0 and 100%. 😉 (fending off the statistician police)!
If you feel compelled to narrow down that interval, vote here:
Poll: where did you buy your coach? (no registration, anonymous, and select as many choices as you wish, voting for Tom’s dillema is of course compulsory)!
Seriously though, we really don’t want to see any entries in the “not happy” categories, and I think most of us would agree that is a worthy topic for discussion. I know if I were in the business I’d want to get to the bottom of that.
-
Final poll results:
If you were a betting man, the mythical Prevost owning acquaintance you recently met at the local fuel station bought his coach used (odds: 7:1), from a dealer or broker (odds: 3:2), and is happy with his seller (odds: 14:1). If his name is Tom you may as well not make an offer. Even though the odds that Tom will sell are overwhelming at 4:1, he’s likely to hold just to prove everyone wrong! LOL! 🙂 (Tom, please don’t shoot the messenger)!
Will there be a sequel to this poll… Stay tuned to find out! 🙂
Poll results can forever be found here. (The option to vote is forever too)!

OK as this thread started out as ….curious…I can’t stand it any longer.
Your signature has ” SpongeBob” on it.
So give us the story !
The survey was a lot of fun and enjoyed watching it grow. Has there been and suggestions for the next topic.
If not here’s an idea….
How may tow cars have PC members had ? Hooked up, dragging them all over the USA.
Which do you prefer ? car, convertible, pick-up , jeep, SUV, Hummer, trailer with toad and toys inside ?

Turnabout is fair play. You no talkee, we no talkee, Big Al.

Hey Al,
My kids chose the name. They think the quirky paint has a deep sea creature look to it and the squared-off shape and the dots remind them of the popular cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants, who happens to live under the Sea. (I’m sure you know the series). The name stuck! LOL!
I like your poll idea. Let me put something together and I’ll run it by you!
