CREDIT CARDS WITH THE FUEL PROGRAM

What would we like to see a picture of? I have a couple pictures from our visit when we first looked at the coach.

The best way to look at pics of Randall’s new coach (#805-A) is to go to the Liberty website. He has a beautiful coach, they will certainly enjoy it!
Once on the site, hit ‘available coaches’. Once a coach is sold, it will make it to ‘past coaches’ which is where ours is located.

I had an odd thing happen on my 2nd time to use the Fuel Discount card. We stopped at a Love’s station in West Memphis, AR, and my ‘L’ card would not work at the pump.
I go inside and the clerk said that the cards do not work unless you have a Love’s rewards card that you put in the pump first (I don’t have one). So, the whole transaction was done inside with the regular ‘walking back and forth for a receipt’, etc.
Now, the clerk knows my two sets of numbers as I had to punch them in on her computer screen. I’ve alerted Alicia to see if the transaction was done correctly and if I need new cards (or a new password as the Vin won’t change).
Have any of you needed a ‘Love’s’ rewards card to be used first? My previous (1st time) fill-up at Love’s went smooth.

No Mark, the guy’s full of shit. I’m sure Alicia will get back to you and I’m assuming you were at the truck side and not the RV side. I always skip the rewards question at the pump.

I had a similar experience and realized the order of the questions for driver number and unit number input had been reversed. The card worked fine at the pump after I realized the change that occurred.

I tried everyway I could putting in the numbers. It would not let me do anything, said ‘error’ or something.

My wife always wants a receipt. At Love’s, you just walk in and they should have the receipt in a box assigned to your pump number. I will move forward to let the next truck fuel up. I walk in, grab the receipt and off I go.
Still very convenient and a great program.

The receipt is generated the same day by Profit Tools. I avoid going in the truck stop so to protect myself I do what I have done since 1990 when we had our first bus. I log the pump readings, the fuel price, gallons pumped and the total cost. For those worried about a receipt just take a photo of the pump readings and erase it when you get the receipt generated by Profit Tools.
You all have smart phones, right?

Swipe, pump, snap a pic of the dollars & gallons and haul ass. I’ve had the receipt as quick as 2 – 3 hours after fueling, but it usually comes that evening.

We have done the same procedure that Tom and Jon described since we got the card we used it almost exclusively on our 15 month trip and didn’t have a single issue anywhere we went. It was awesome. I have been meaning to post this as I recall someone posting in the previous thread that they weren’t comfortable with stations having all their information. I am sure Tom and Jon have pointed this out… But Alicia’s helper called me the other day to get the updated expiration date on my card so I asked her. When you use your card at a station. Profit tools pays the station your personal card or account information IS NOT transmitted to the actual station where you are fueling but instead Profit Tools pays the bill and then hits your card for the charges for the amount. I took pictures everywhere we went on the trip and kept a master log of the fuel used and it was never even off by a penny. I feel 100% safe with this program in that I don’t go outside with anything but my PC fuel card… someone wants to screw with me… that is all they are going to get.

I received the email from Profit Tools regarding my fuel purchase from Love’s in West Memphis, AR.
Everything appears to be correct with the discount included, etc.
Haven’t heard yet about the using the ‘Love’s Card’ before the Profit Tools card.

The Love’s Rewared Card is optional in its use. If you have one and insert it first, the following purchase will accrue reward points to be used inside the store for some stuff and food.
If you do not insert it, no reward points but everything else works just the same.
This allows a trucking firm to pay for the driver’s fuel and for the drive to get free stuff inside.
The cruical card is the one from Profit Tools the the “L” on it.

That’s the clicker Rudy, the ‘L’ card would not work no matter how I tried. The girl at the counter said the ‘L’ card would not work without using the Love’s Reward card first. I have not heard this before that’s why I was asking.

That is not true Mark. I do not have or ever have used a rewards card and I have never had a problem using the Love’s fuel discount card at the pump. If the timing was such that Profit tools was open for business it would have been worth a phone call while at the counter.
