Yep great looking bus Billy! I need to set up the same 50 amp connection on my bus. Much easier way to plugin for sure.

Older conversion seem to have detachable power cords since Glendinning was manufacturing power reals until after 1983. Detachable shore cords aren’t common, but we did see Marathon 966, an XLII 2006 that had a special,order detachable cord

Our Liberty came standard with a detachable cord with a 50 amp connection at the curb-side bay in the engine compartment. We have a lever in the electrical bay (driver’s side second bay behind drivers wheel) where I can switch between the two sources.
I thought I was going to have to use it a few months ago near Asheville, NC, at a KOA that had a pull-through site with the connections curb-side, then a regular spot became available.

We have both the driver side retractable 50amp cord and detachable plug on the curbside (Liberty Coach thinks of everything). A few times I’ve had to reposition the coach for the shortest distance due to a poorly positioned pedestal. I push the drivers side cable under Coach and pull it out when the awning hook.
So I bought a 25’-50amp cable with the right ends. Had it over two years, but ready if I need it. Anyone in the campground can borrow it!
Usually need it where we want to face a different direction than the designer thought we’d want to!

Howard system claim… was better steering control in wind conditions. Aggressive or passive depending on driver setting keeping bus in lane and less driver fatigue.
