    Gary, pull the cup holder in the console just to the right of the driver seat. My unit like this is down in that hole. You can access it but you will have to have small hands or use tools to fish it out. Just go slow and easy.

    Thanks found the sliver box under the cup holder, so easy but never thought to look there,was searching the cabinets. Now to investigate the coax line and make sure its compatible.

    Dollars to doughnuts says that the cable is RG-58. It’s nearly unusable above 100MHZ. At cell phone frequencies, the loss is greater than 20db making it nearly useless.

    Not just theory here – I did exactly the same thing on my coach and my cellular booster has never worked at all. I knew better when I installed it into the crappy coax, and kept going just to “see” what it would do. It was a waste of a day’s work.

    Determine the Ohm rating of the repeater system you are looking at buying. The CB cabling will most likely be 50-ohm, and a lot of good booster systems out there right now seem to be 75-ohm. Also, if the cable is RG-58, max length is 20-ft, for RG-6 is 50-ft, RG-11 is 100-ft
