I think Tom meant the wrong relay in the stack. I keep coming back to more than just the relay you replaced as being the cause of the lights being on. Since you likely have multiple switches to control the lights I am inclined to rule out switch failure.
So that suggests an issue with the A-B system such as with a PLC or card, or there is an additional relay that has failed closed. The easiest way to check is to just pull each relay in turn to see if there is a second one in the circuit.

Correction on that last post the new ones look like the one shown maybe tom can take a photo of the old one, they look simular but without the leds, I checked and new ones from Liberty were 2790 ea X 15 and 4 hr labor, go figure if these work great. But in fairness to Liberty the new fixtures are triple chrome plated brass, so I will polish up the ones I have, Gary

Hey big Al, Doesn’t that Marathon of yours have all LED lights already? My side markers and other chassis lights are LED. The Gary and Tom duo are just changing out the converter lights to LED to not only keep up with the Joneses, but to get a step ahead of them.

I was wondering as Grote lighting has made some improvements in there side marker lights. Was doing some research on part numbers, specs.

The coach itself has the string of amber and a single red marker light running down both sides. But most of our coaches also have lights similar to the photo Tom posted that are installed by the converter and are typically used for patio lighting in a campground. In addition I think most also have what are defined as “cornering” or “docking” lights which look somewhat like a driving light and which have more intense lighting to help when making turns in the dark or when lane changing.
The “cargo” lights are not very bright, so if Tom and Gary have found a way to upgrade the lights we have to much brighter LED lights they not only will provide more light they are also likely to make you more secure because anyone monkeying around the coach will be clearly visible.

Thanks Jon, I understand what is going on now. Good move, low current draw, long-life, more light. I have done the same thing on my old hoopie. Used backup lights out of Peterbilt.

Tom, Real interested in your LED upgrade on the cargo lights. Time to change mine out. Still love the look. Interested in new lens, gaskets and LED. You order from prevost. thx

Put new lenses and gaskets on all of my cargo lights just this fall. I am interested in the LED bulbs but yours look a lot different than mine. I have 12 volt round base tail light bulbs in mine. -

Item# 9 Led , Color: Super White , Lens: Rigid Loop. The stock bulb is a 212-2 (it has the little spring on end)The lights are from L & M Truck Parts http://www.lmctruck.com/, the lens are 36-4251 and the gaskets are 36-0510.
Chuck – Go to http://www.autolumination.com/ and in search type the bulb number such as 1157 and it will bring up LED alternatives.

With the LED bulbs, dont you need to kit out the bulb connection / pigtail also
